Anti-Roll Bar Spacer brackets
These Brackets are used to lower the antiroll bar slightly when fitting our 80 Litre ellipsoid LPG tank in place of the petrol tank on the Discovery Series 1 and Range Rover classics.
Will it fit?
The 80 Litre Gas-tank has a flattened cylindrical shape to ensure its flexibility when it comes to fitting in confined space, but it is slightly 'taller' than the petrol tank it is replacing in both the Discovery 1 and Range Rovers. In order to fit the tank these spacers are used to lower the anti-Roll bar slightly to provide the required space.

We have added a picture below showing the standard for tank fitting approved by the L.P.G.A. They insist that cylinders are mounted using mild steel Straps that are plastic coated. As you can see from this picture the mild steel straps have rusted away leaving these tanks in a very dangerous position and ready to leave the vehicle at any time. It is this exact reason that we bolt this tank directly in place. If any LPG tanks we use require straps, we would only use Stainless Steel. (This customer was very pleased that we spotted his problem prior to disaster striking....how many more are driving around in a similar state).
