OMVL Dream Sequential Injected System: 8 Cylinder

What's the system suitable for?


This OMVL Dream injected LPG system should be suitable for any 8 cylinder fuel injected engine.

We specifically use this front end conversion kit on the Motronic (Thor) Rover V8 as found on the post 2000 P38 Range Rovers 4.0, 4.6 litre the Series II Discovery 4.0 litre and also the new L322 MKIII Range Rovers both supercharged and naturally asperated.

Also now used on the Vauxhall Monaro as seen on our conversion pages.

However this kit will work on all Fuel injected Rover V8 engines as well, so thats the early Flapper style, the Hotwire 14CUX system and the later Sagem engine management.

Please note that it is a requirement of all LPG systems as supplied by Partsrange (RPi Engineering) that once fitted, the installation should be checked over, set up and certified by RPi or by an LPG certified fitter.

What does this kit include?


A self fit Front End 8 cylinder sequential LPG Gas Conversion with Lambda feedback loop and all you need to convert your EFi. Range rover (all the engine bay equipment, but excluding gas tanks). As used by us RPi. Engineering when converting pre. 1999 Rover V8 engines to LPG.

This front end system comprises of every LPG component needed under the bonnet to convert your vehicle to LPG and includes.

Switch Unit


Once fitted the LPG switch has two operating modes which are changed between by a simple push button.

  • Petrol: As the name suggests this mode is to run the engine on petrol and the LPG system is inactive.
  • LPG: This activates the LPG solenoids and allows the engine to run on LPG, with the petrol system inactive.

This switch also has a gauge in the form of 1 Red LED and several Green ones that indicates the level of LPG in the tank.
